An educated guess may miss. A thoughtful question can be a catalyst. The other day I had to consider a what-if. I don't remember the line of thinking that brought me to this. Every morning I invite the Holy Spirit to make His presence felt and to reveal. I can only hope the inspiration is rooted in revelation.
Some of us grow weary with anticipation. We know "patience is a virtue" and yet we remain in the variety of waiting which can become an unholy assignment if we are simultaneously frustrated, anxious and even distrusting when the season turns out to be too long for our liking.
We fix our mouths to say "God is good" and that we want His will to be done, but we can't see that we are approaching God with a sense of entitlement. Depositing prayers just to withdraw a blessing while totally unconcerned with intimacy and transformative growth. We want our miracle bank to start increasing and we only receive prosperity preaching.
What have we been teaching? When do we start unlearning? If we are so tired of waiting on God to change things, when do we consider the part we are supposed to be playing?
You think you're tired of waiting? What if He is just waiting on you to do something new?
